Pull Webbing From Rack-Strap

Lift the gear lever (called a pawl) and pull webbing from Rack-Strap spindle. Make sure to remove more webbing than you need, you will tighten the extra webbing at the end.

Loop Webbing Around Your Cargo

Slide the webbing underneath the bottom rail of the rack and cargo. Loop the webbing back over the top of your cargo, bringing the hook back to the front of the Rack-Strap.

Attach Hook To Rack-Strap Frame

Turn the hook 90 degrees and insert the hook in the slotted opening. Place hook tip around front medal pin, making sure it is well cradled.

Tighten Rack-Strap

Remove tightening rod from the holder. Insert tip of tightening rod in 5/16 inch hole of spindle and turn tightening rod until achieving desired tension level. Place tightening rod back in holder.
